Although I have chose not to teach this past school year and stay home with my daughter (her birthday is in May) I have plenty of teaching experience. I completed my Master's degree in December 2012 and received my teaching certificate from the State Board of Education in January 2013. Since then I have gained experience doing the following jobs assignments: Response to Intervention (RtI) completing reading and writing interventions for at risk primary grade students Guided Reading Groups with various reading strategies and comprehension follow up activities Lead Teacher for primary grade and middle school Experience substitute teaching for high school grades Teaching Assistant in in a split grade classroom One on one teaching experience In addition to my past work experience I can guarantee that I: Am passionate Have a growth mindset Have empathy Have subject matter mastery Will help you to the best of my ability to understand content Will adjust our goals if need be
